co-owner june doherty has been in the business of hair for nearly 20 years. june received her training and initial experience at the highly regarded architects & heroes salon in san francisco . she followed this with a teaching position in their advanced training program.
june then went to gila rut in hillcrest, where she also taught in the color training program.

it was at gila rut that june met her accomplice and future co-owner eduardo. the two cemented their friendship and working relationship at victoria & associates for 6 years. the two decided to open section 2820 in 2004 and have never looked back.

a lifelong fan of fashion and pop culture, june’s color creations not only incorporate her innate creative vision but are tailored to an individual’s look and lifestyle.
